In the spirit of its Norse namesakes, the viking beard grows long, carries visible mass and is often braided or tied. Unlike the Bandholz, which stays brushed and rounded, the viking style embraces texture, weight and ornament: a braid, a bead, a leather tie. It pairs naturally with shaved or short sides on the head. It is the least corporate style on this site and makes no apologies for it.
Who does it suit?
Needs bone structure to anchor it: square, angular and narrow faces carry it best. Round and soft faces disappear behind it.
How to maintain it
Wash and deep-condition weekly, oil daily, and re-braid cleanly rather than sleeping in old braids. Length makes neglect visible fast.
