Drag the slider: clean shaven to styled

This beard takes its name from the Italian general Giuseppe Garibaldi. It grows to roughly ten to fifteen centimetres and ends in a wide, rounded base, with the moustache kept tidy while the beard itself stays slightly untamed. It is the biggest beard most men can wear without entering lifestyle territory: commanding but still bounded. The rounded bottom is the signature; squared corners would make it a different style.

Who does it suit?

The width at the base balances long faces, and the mass grounds angular ones. It is the long-beard entry point with the widest face compatibility.

How to maintain it

Round the base with scissors every two weeks, keep the moustache trimmed at the lip, oil and brush daily to keep the wildness deliberate.
